This Sony is a second handset to my original purchase.It's the only cordless phone I have found that has large letters for the caller ID.I was thrilled to be able to get a second handset, because my original one was bought at least 10 years ago.Im sure Sony has kept this product available because it is a good phone. I may even get another handset.Up to four additional handsets can be added on to the base phone. Wearing traditional phone keypad, but 10 years have been a great phone. Also a great price.Can't beat it..
